Elections for the 2007/2008 Academic year are going to be held next wednesday at 7 p.m. All positions are up for grabs, and anyone who is a due-paying member is eligible to be elected.
The semester is nearing its end, but we are planning to go out with a bang; just in this last few weeks of school we hope to squeeze in a movie screening and a fund-raising banquet. More information will definitely be posted as things become finalized. If anyone is interested in helping, do not be discouraged! Even if you have not been active this semester (or year), you will be gladly welcomed into the organization.

Upcoming Events
Next Week on February 28th, World Center Campus Ministries will be hosting a fair and balanced debate on the "Homosexual Agenda." A highly experienced conservative who has appeared on national television and various talk shows will be debating a UTSA student.
Come show your support for the better side. The event will be taking place in the Retama Auditorium from 7:00-9:00 p.m.Tickets are $3.
Also, something in the far future that needs to be shown consideration now is Fiesta UTSA, which is happening on April 20. The theme this year is going to be "caliente." College Democrats will be selling a food or drink product and decorating the booth to correlate with this theme. We need to start coming up with ideas now if we want this event to be a success.
Also, those who would like to volunteer for local politics need to start getting into campaign mode again. Local races will be starting up soon, and College Democrats will involved as usual.
